Nicole is a Certified School Nurse at Mount Olive High School and was recently named Head Nurse for Mount Olive Township Public Schools. She also works per-diem nights at Saint Clare’s Hospital on the pediatric and maternity unit, with plans to transfer to Labor and Delivery this summer—a longtime dream of hers. Blake is a Cybersecurity Analyst and Director of Operations at NetFire. He also channels his entrepreneurial passion as the owner of BDR Technology Solutions.

Nicole and Blake will be getting married on July 11, 2026, at Nicole’s church in Bridgewater. Their Catholic faith is a cornerstone of their lives, making it a natural and deeply meaningful choice for their ceremony. The celebration will continue with a reception at Primavera Regency beginning at 6:30 PM.

Wedding planning can definitely be stressful—they don’t make that part up! However, Nicole and Blake are truly enjoying the process and learning as they go. They feel incredibly fortunate to have such supportive families who offer endless love, guidance, and encouragement. In the end, all the planning and preparation will be more than worth it on their big day.

The proposal was absolutely perfect—everything Nicole had ever hoped for. Blake thoughtfully planned every detail, making the moment truly unforgettable. On March 29, 2025, he proposed at Meyer’s Pond in Turkey Brook Park, with beautiful weather setting the scene. He even hired a photographer to capture the entire moment. Blake chose the perfect location, the perfect ring, and the perfect timing. In a playful twist, he told Nicole there was a beaver swimming in the pond—when she turned to look, he got down on one knee and popped the question. It was an incredible moment, and her answer was, without a doubt, yes.

Well, it turns out everyone knew before Nicole did—Blake’s family, Nicole’s family and friends, and even a few coworkers! The best part, though, was Nicole’s dad’s reaction when Blake went to ask for his blessing. With a little help from Nicole’s mom, Blake came up with a plan to distract Nicole while he spoke with “Papa J.” Being big on tradition, Blake felt it was an important first step. When he asked for his blessing, Nicole’s dad looked at him and said, “What the hell are you askin’ me for? Go ask her!” As it turns out, it was the exact same response Nicole’s grandfather gave her dad when he asked to marry her mom-so it’s become a bit of a family tradition! After a brief pause, both Nicole’s dad and Blake laughed, and of course, he gave his blessing.

Their future is filled with excitement—Nicole and Blake recently purchased their first home together! After the wedding, they look forward to continuing to settle in and simply enjoying this special season of life as newlyweds. They’re excited to grow together as husband and wife, make lasting memories, travel, and continue pursuing their career goals. When the time is right, they are eager to start a family. As future parents, Nicole and Blake hope to provide their children with the best life possible, leading by example and raising them with a strong foundation in their faith.
