St. Augustine is a beautiful historic city that is about an hour from Jacksonville Beach. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches. This would be a great day trip to enjoy the Spanish fort, great restaurants, winery, and much more.

Another beautiful city to visit is Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. This is one of our favorite weekend activities. We love driving through the town and visiting the shops and restaurants.
