Our Wedding

The day that it all started. Jacob and I actually met through social media. We began messaging and then exchanging numbers. We talked from the time we woke up, until it was time for bed about everything and anything. After a few weeks we decided to meet in person and there were instant sparks between us. We had our first date at cheddars and shared a margarita together and laughed for hours. This was the beginning of the rest of our lives together 💕

February 21, 2016

Jacob met Kayden! Kayden ADORED him!! Jacob was amazing with him and they were best buds. Seeing how great he was with Kayden just made me fall faster than I already was ❤️

March 5th, 2016

I remember soooo many details of this day. A couple days prior when I was dropping Kayden off at his daycare I found a random little box next to kaydens car seat. I opened the box and found 1 single small solid grey puzzle piece. I had NO clue what the heck it was. A couple days later when I got off work I didn’t think Jacob was coming over because he said he had plans with some friends. My roommate let him inside that day while I was at work, so when I got home there were rose petals all over the floor leading to my bedroom. I walked to the bedroom to find this on my bed and he had a picture of us made into a puzzle. BUT there was ONE single puzzle piece missing. He then asked me to be his girlfriend and asked me if I had the last piece to fill his heart ❤️ of course I said yes !!!

April 11, 2016

Our relationship just kept growing stronger and stronger and we had a PERFECT summer together. We were inseparable! We lived about 45 minutes to an hour away from eachother and we made the drive everyday to see eachother after work. He showed me what true happiness felt like and man did those butterflies never go away 😅. We went to the creek ALOT, traveled to the beach, took Kayden to Chicago, went to carnivals, spent tons of nights without sleeping because we stayed up talking and laughing. I knew instantly that year that he’s the one.

We went to Ohio with Jacobs parents and stayed the in the cutest bed and breakfast and then spent the next day at kings island! I had never been so it was SOOOO much fun! Jacob laughed at me for screaming and having funny facial expressions on the roller coasters but that’s ok I still love him. 

May 27, 2017

We took Kayden to the park and at the time, Kayden was REALLY into squirrels. His preschool told the kids that the squirrels name was “skippy”. So we went to the park to find skippy and got some ice cream. The park we went to also had a mini zoo, so we looked at those animals too. I love this picture because one of my favorite things is the way jacob looks at me. Even still to this day. 💕

April 20th, 2018

We spent a week in Massachusetts visiting my dad. It was our first vacation out of indiana together and my goodness we did not want to leave the mountains. We visited the the top of Mount Greylock and it was the prettiest view I had ever seen. We went hiking to see some waterfalls/ We got to see my grandma that I hadn’t seen in years/ We got to visit the racetrack that my poppy used to go to/ AND we got to see my dad get married! PEEP the date of this story, we now are gonna share an anniversary 🤭. 

July 4th, 2019

We bought our first home!!! This day was the most exciting day for us! We spent the last few years renting and decided we wanted to start house shopping and found the perfect first home for our family. 

October 16th, 2020

We went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my family.  We had a condo for the 3 of us and my family stayed about 2 minutes down the road. Our condo was BEAUTIFUL. It overlooked the ocean and our walls were nothing but windows. We ate at so many yummy places on the boardwalk/ we found SO many shark teeth walking the beach/ we opened up oysters at this cute little shop to get a pearl and add to jewelry/ We went to a huge mini golf course/ rode go karts & water bumper boats/ Kayden even convinced us to let him buy two hermit crabs to bring home. I didn’t think we were even gonna make it home because Jacob was looking at indeed jobs there 😂.  

June 28th, 2021

Our 6 year anniversary. Jacob was able to get off work and we went to dinner and then to kaydens basketball game. It feels like a lot longer than 6 years!! We’ve gone through so much together and have made so many great memories. From day one, he’s been an amazing man to me and an amazing father to Kayden. I LOVE experiencing life with him. 

April 11th, 2022

Jacob proposed and I said yes!!! May 7th was a Saturday the day before Mother’s Day. I had to work and then after work we had to rush to a birthday party. When I got off work, I was rushing home to pick up the boys. I pulled into the driveway and pressed the garage button to go in through the garage and I heard music (nothing out of the ordinary, Jacob always plays music & it was our song. But we play our song a lot, so still nothing out of the ordinary). When the garage door lifts, the first thing I saw was Jacob and Kayden down on one knee together. Here’s where the story turns a little… I open my car door and I PUKE!! YES I puked ugh!! I don’t know if all the emotions hit me at once or what but yup, it happened! I could see Jacob hold in his laugh and I start crying as I’m walking up to them. I’m crying, he’s crying, Kayden tears up and says “mom say yes” , Jacob then asked the question and I said YES!!!
