Activities
We highly recommend to explore Oahu and experience our favourite place in the world! Oahu Hawaii has many fun activities that will make this trip a once in a lifetime experience.
Here are some activities we highly recommend.
Kualoa Ranch
Not only is Kualoa Ranch our wedding venue, it is a beautiful preserve that hosts award-winning activities. The ranch includes: horse back riding, movie tours, ziplining, and our FAVOURITE activity UTV Raptors Tour. If you can only do one activity, we highly recommend the UTV tour.
Kualoa Ranch is the best place to experience Hawaii's BEAUTIFUL nature in Oahu.
Snorkeling with Turtles and Fishes
A must in Hawaii is snorkeling in the clear-blue waters. We got to see many fish and some turtles too.
You will find many snorkeling tours on airbnb experiences and by searching google.
Mānoa Falls Trail
Hiking in Hawaii is a must! This trail is not difficult and provides a beautiful Hawaiian scenery. A waterfall is at the end of the trail too.
Pu'u Ohia Trailhead
This hiking trail was further away from the touristy areas so it was a very calm and quiet hike. At the top, there was a beautiful viewpoint of the mountains.
Laniakea Beach
Our favourite beach because the water is so clear, you can snorkel here for free. We saw turtles and fish here. This beach is also further away from the main beach (Waikiki Beach) so it is less busy.
But Waikiki beach is also a beautiful beach we go to because it's where all the hotels are. It is busy but we still recommend! The picture above is Waikiki Beach.
Cirque du Soleil 'Auana
Now a permanent residency in Honolulu, 'Auana is a memorable performance outlining Hawaiian stories. The entire show, we were gasping and shouting "OH MY GOSH". Highly recommend!
Pearl Harbor
We had so much fun exploring Pearl Harbor. There are different museums you can explore ranging from aviation museums to an actual battleship.
Nicole's favourite museum?
The USS Battleship Misssouri Memorial. She says "IT'S A MUST SEE!"
Polynesian Culture Center
Learn about the history and culture of Hawaii by exploring this cultural center. It's very well designed with many things to see/try. We also enjoyed our first Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center! Lastly, the evening show is a must see!
Waimea Valley
A stunning botanical garden that ends with a waterfall that you can swim in! If you want a quiet excursion away from the city, this is a great option.
