Our Wedding

Joe was a pestering and annoying friend, who finally worked himself out of the friend zone. For a few years they managed what Nicole called a "long distance relationship," dating someone from what everyone outside of Westchester considers "Upstate NY." Over the years, Joe pushed Nicole to expand her horizons as she moved to the other side of the bridge, and Nicole did the same having Joe traveling outside of the country. Joe considers Nicole to his best friend, someone he can be himself around. It is the reason he wanted to take the next step in life with her. Our most important times over the years of our relationship have been spent with our friends and family. Our holidays, vacations, dinners, hangouts, and everyday life are more valuable with you all in. We could not imagine any of these memories without you all in it. We are ecstatic to spend our big day with you. Be ready for a night of fun and dancing. Please wear comfortable shoes, because Nicole will not allow shoes to be the excuse for you not being on the dance floor.

Guests traveling can take the Metro North Hudson Line up to Poughkeepsie. The Grandview is a 5 minute Uber or 15 minute walk from the train station.

Thursday Night

It is not necessary to come up Thursday night if you are not in the bridal party but if you are traveling from far away or just want to come party with us a night early, we will meet up at Mahoney's Irish Pub near the Poughkeepsie Train Station at 7PM.

Friday Evening

Whether you stay at the Homewood Suites or Residence Inn, the bus will leave from Homewood Suites at 530PM & 6PM. The ceremony and party will take place at the Grandview (630PM - 12PM). A bus will take guests back at 1130PM & 12AM. 

Saturday Morning

Both hotels offer a complimentary breakfast, but wherever you stay make sure to stop by the Homewood Suites to say goodbye to the newly married couple on your way out!
