Bob and Nicole will be receiving the Sacrament of Marriage through a traditional Catholic service. Throughout the religious ceremony guest will be required to kneel, sit, bow, and stand. The pews will contain " cheat sheets" explaining customs and instructions for call and responses. If you are unable to kneel or do not feel comfortable with these Catholic traditions, we ask that guests silently stand or sit out of respect to these practices. Additionally, the Catholic Church recognizes Communion as a Sacrament, and its followers believe that the blessing of the Eucharist allows the host to actually become the bread and body of Christ. This is celebrated every Sunday at Mass, for members who have been baptized within the Catholic Church. The priest may only invite those who have been baptized in the Catholic Church to join the families in receiving Holy Communion on the Big Day. Others are welcomed to join in reflection and prayer. Following the ceremony, guest will be asked to join The Host at Raspberry Plain Manor for Cocktail Hour and the Reception.
