Hi All! We have made a courtesy block at three DC area hotels (details below). While these were the best rates we could find for groups, we would definitely encourage you to look for individual good deals! Airbnb is also a good option for folks looking to stay in larger groups.That said, we negotiated quite a bit to get the rates below, and we hope that you find the options useful! The wedding is right about the time cherry blossoms usually appear (yay!), so we'd encourage you to book early.

Research/ Airbnb

While not the most helpful option for getting to the wedding itself, the metro is a great way to get around DC. You can find metro maps and timetables at wmata.com. Don't worry about trying to get a metro card before you arrive in DC-- they are easy to buy here!FYI: if you are flying into DCA, the metro is also an easy way to get into the city cheaply. Follow the metro signs in the airport, buy a card, and jump on the blue or yellow line. You can use the trip planner on wmata.com to figure out how to get close to where you are staying.

METRO

Details:The Hampton Inn is about 5 miles from the church (~25 minutes driving). It has free parking on the weekends until 6AM on Mondays and $20/night parking on weekdays. You can choose from one king bed or 2 queens for $120/night, up to 4 person occupancy. If you are planning to stay in D.C. to explore for a few days, there is a red line metro stop 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Hampton Inn Silver Spring

Details:

The Kimpton Topaz is about 2 miles (~12min drive) from the church. The hotel is located close to downtown DC, just a six minute walk to the red line metro. If you plan to do a lot of sightseeing, the Kimpton is a great, centrally located option with a lot of nearby restaurants and shops. Guests can choose from a king bed or two queens. Single and double occupancy is $152/night with children under 12 staying at no additional charge. Triple occupancy for three adults is $182/night, and four adults is $212/night. Day parking is $25/day and overnight parking is $48/night with in-and-out service (Dupont is really walkable and easy to navigate with public transportation--I would skip the car if you decide to stay here!).





Cut-Off Date: NEW: The Kimpton website link has been down (and many people just thought the block was full but it is not). As a result,&nbsp;&nbsp;they have extended the cut-off date to 3/14.

Kimpton Topaz Hotel

Details:The Hyatt is about 3 miles (~20 drive, ~35 metroride/walk) from the church. The hotel is located in DC, just a six minute walk to the red line metro, and walking distance from some good restaurants and bars. Guests can choose from a king bed or two queens. Single and double occupancy is $169/night with children under 13 staying at no additional charge. Triple occupancy for three adults is $184/night, and four adults is $199/night.
