It all started back in 2017 — in California, of all places. Pretty wild considering Nick and Nicole had lived less than an hour apart in New Jersey their whole lives. Nicole was visiting friends, Nick happened to work with them, and somehow the two of them ended up spending time together on the other side of the country. There was definitely a spark, but Nick was planning to stay in California, so they figured it wasn’t meant to be… at least not yet.

Then 2018 rolled around, and surprise — Nick made his way back to New Jersey. He and Nicole reconnected and went to a concert at Starland Ballroom (Taking Back Sunday, if you're curious. You know they love their emo bands). Somewhere between the music, the lights, and maybe a little birthday magic, Nicole decided to kiss Nick for the first time (yes — on his birthday!).

From 2019 to early 2022, their paths crossed now and then, but life had them on different journeys. Still, something kept pulling them back toward each other.

Then came February 2022. They were having dinner at Jose Tejas, splitting fajitas, when Nick looked over and said, “Should we just do this?” Romantic, simple, and totally Nick. And just like that, everything finally felt right and fell into place.

By November 2023, Nick (and Lucky) moved in with Nicole (and Ted), and their little family officially became one big, happy, wonderfully chaotic household.

Fast forward to June 2024 — a beach in Long Branch, a rainstorm that almost ruined the plan, and a very romantic proposal right after the skies cleared. They decided then and there that they'd spend the rest of their lives together, rain or shine.

And now, they’re getting ready to say “I do” in April 2026 and start the next chapter of their story!
