We both moved to Orange County, CA just a few weeks apart. We ended up joining the same soccer team. Steve thought Nicole was a little stuck up, and Nicole was only a little shy! Then Steve realized what an amazing soccer player Nicole was and the two of them relied on each other on the field to win games. Fast forward about 6 months.

Nicole lost her job. The manager of the team bribed her to go to the game that night with the promise of a beer after. Steve was also invited with the manager and his wife to grab a beer. While Nicole was a little sad still, she noticed that Steve gave the managers wife his jacket because she was cold, and Nicole thought to herself "I need a guy like him". After the beer Steve lingered in the parking lot to talk a little more with Nicole and she definitely picked up on that.

The next day, Steve e-mailed Nicole and that is how it all began...
