Some other recommendations we have for you are to stop by Antica Porchetteria for the best pork sandwich you will ever eat, followed by a glass of wine at Bottega del Vino (a jazz and wine bar hidden above Kosmo beer shop) .
We stayed in Perugia city center the week of our tasting. It is perfect location for a 1-2 night stay!

Visit the Basilica di San Francesco, dedicated to Saint Francis Of Assisi, where you can enjoy the incredible frescoes. The Minerva Temple built in the 1st Century BC is one of the best preserved sites in Assisi. Just a few miles outside Assisi, you can stop to visit the Eremo delle carceri where Saint Francis used to pray.
SPELLO
This tiny little hill town has cute stone houses, picturesque "vicoli" narrow streets, a lot of interesting shops and 12 ancient towers. You can spend a whole day there admiring its beauty and can really feel the love and care its residents have for their town. From May to August every year the village becomes more beautiful thanks to a competition where home owners decorate their doorways, windows and balconies with plants and flowers.
