If you were to tell us 8 years ago, that we would be here today planning a wedding for the two of us, I am sure I would not have disagreed with you!

Lets take it back to the year 2015. The Ocean Lanes, Get In the Game league was ending for the winter. As the last few weeks in the league are position rounds, Julio and myself ended bowling against each other back to back weeks. Most people know of Julio, he is not shy of talking to anyone who will listen, makings jokes, or enjoying some adult beverages with some friends. We had some fun banter with each other on who will be losing .25 cents to each other being so low in the standings.

As the summer of 2015 began, we are now in the same summer league with mutual friends. With each week that came, I look forward to spending Tuesday nights with this new person who was making an imprint in my mind and slowly my heart.

Of course we did start to express interest in each other with the time we did spend together. We both really took the time to really develop our relationship. While a few weeks in, my heart was telling me to take the chance with a man who made feel like never before.

March 8, 2016, after a night out at Phil's Fun League, Julio tells me he is in love with me. FINALLY, that was the night our relationship was official, but as if I was going anywhere else!

Over the last 7 years, we have had countless of amazing memories with different faces and different places. Many of them spent with family or our close friends. We continued to find new ways to grow together and making a life for ourselves. All while we are still enjoying the time to travel and take on new experiences anywhere with my person.

March 10, 2023, I was working from home and by the end of the work day, I had to step away to my families house and then to the gym. Just like any other typical day, I was delayed from returning home. As I do pull up in front of our home, I notice something seems off. Blinds were shut, small lights were peeking through the cracks of the window. Little to my knowing it was the night our lives would change forever! Candles and flower petals covered our home, with pictures taken throughout our relationship scattered around the house. All I saw was tunnel vision to the man with the one question I knew that was coming and soon to be the one I will be spending the rest of my life with!

Julio has always been my strong and reliable person no matter what we have seen over the years. We are true believers of the experiences and battles we come across, get us to where we are today. If all of the roads we have taken lead us to here, I would do it all over again and could not have asked for a better partner in life to begin this next chapter for us.

Here is to celebrating with all of our loved ones, it is long over due! #SedaStateofMind
