Nicole was a waitress at Dave's Sushi serving Sean and his friends every Friday night. One night Sean decided to pull a chair for Nicole to sit at their table to enjoy a shot of sake. Nicole was pretty nervous to be sitting at the table but played it off like it was no big deal. They went to a downtown bar together after Nicole finished work that night. They made plans to hang out the next day, then the next and the next.

Sean knew that Nicole was going to Central America for a trip with her friend and sister, so Sean knew he needed to do something special soon since they hadn't known each other very long. Sean took Nicole shopping for a new dress and shoes to take her to a fancy steak dinner at Bucks T4 in Big Sky. Nicole was very impressed with how much a gentleman Sean was to her.

Not long after meeting each other, Nicole left to Central America for a few months. They spoke everyday on the phone and enjoyed talking so much Nicole bought a flight to meet Sean in Minneapolis. Sean met Nicole's parents right away.

Sean officially asked Nicole to be his girlfriend on this trip in Minnesota at a Leon Bridges concert on the 21st of September (Earth Wind & Fire help Sean remember the date anniversary!). Sean drove Nicole back to Montana so that they could continue to date. Since Sean was introduced to Nicole's parents so soon, Sean invited his mom and brother out to Montana to meet Nicole. It was a mutual understanding between the couple and families that this was a good match.

Nicole and Sean have been on many adventures since meeting in 2018. Sean popped the question over Nicole's birthday weekend (July 2023) picking cherries in the Flathead area in Montana. Nicole spit out cherry pits and happily said YES!

Nicole and Sean will be moving to North Carolina (Sean's home state) a few months after the wedding. Montana has a very special place in their hearts and sharing their wedding day with all their loved ones means SO much to them.
