Our Wedding

The love story of Steven and Nicole began at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, in 2014. They shared a few mutual friends and took some of the same nursing classes, but their paths didn’t cross much beyond the classroom. It wasn’t until June 2017 that a mutual friend decided to play matchmaker since they would both be attending a friend's birthday party in Hoboken, NJ. Nicole was a bit shy at first and found herself avoiding Steven for the first half of the evening. But eventually, she couldn’t resist his irresistible charm and good looks. That night changed everything. After graduating nursing school in December 2017, they embraced their love for adventure, travel and food by exploring countless destinations together—Walt Disney World, California, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Paris, Rome, and Dubai, to name just a few! On October 20, 2021, Steven took a leap and proposed to Nicole under the hot Dubai sun in front of the Burj Khalifa, marking a beautiful new chapter in their love story. And now after a long engagement, surviving and fighting a global pandemic on the front lines, moving to Connecticut, Nicole obtaining a Master’s in Nursing degree and becoming a nurse practitioner, Steven finally graduating with his Doctorate in Nursing Practice and becoming a CRNA, and becoming dog parents to two beautiful dogs, Astro and Comet, they are thrilled to finally tie the knot and begin this exciting new journey together: marriage.
