This love story begins in November 2011, when Stefan and Nicole first locked eyes on each other. Nicole in her Central HS shorts, and top decided to decorate her dorm room with Disney themed stuff as a thoughtful birthday surprise for her roommate and invited some friends over the night before to hangout. Among those friends that arrived, Stefan came through and started talking to Nicole hoping to leave with her number that night as the two really hit it off. The pair weren't aware they had mutual friends. The two left for Christmas break, returning back home to their family in New Jersey/PA and New York. While at home with their family, OoVoo video chat was popular at the time, and the pair chatted with multiple friends on there, until everyone left the call. The two found themselves talking for hours later. Nicole and Stefan had their first date in Times Square at Applebees and the movies. A few months later, they decided to make it Facebook official. Stefan came to visit Nicole's family, attended family reunions to get to know her better. Nicole traveled to Trinidad to meet Stefan's family and hear stories of him as a kid. Through the rest of college, Penn State football games, and time spent with friends the two always had this special connection with each other that everyone noticed. After college, Stefan's career moved him to Columbia, Maryland, and Nicole's career started her out in Philadelphia, PA. Although long distance can be challenging, it was no match for Nicole and Stefan's love for each other.
