What should I expect with a Catholic Church ceremony?
We are doing a catholic ceremony, but not a full catholic service. Expect it to last about 45 minutes, with a couple readings, and an exchanging of vows, but no communion. The pastor will help to instruct you when to sit/stand/kneel when necessary. Everyone is welcome and please do not be intimidated to join us!
Is there a dress code?
Use this as a time to dress up a little! Think cocktail attire, no suits needed but also, please no jeans. Bring a sweater to handle the January weather, but even if it’s chilly out we will make sure the indoors is comfortable!
Can I bring a plus one?
We are at near capacity for our venue, so please only bring a plus one if there was one on your formal invitation. If you feel we missed someone close to us, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate if there is room left!
Adults only reception?
Use this as an excuse for a night out! Also due to venue capacity, we are asking you to look for a babysitter for the littles for the evening. If you can’t make other arrangements, please get a hold of us and we will do our best to be able to accommodate!
RSVP
Please RSVP by December 1st, I know things get busy with the holiday season so don’t be afraid to send them early and get it out of your way! Respond either by mail or by text to Nicole at 814-392-0443. I know it will be tempting for those on the grooms side to get ahold of Kyle, but we are trying to keep this simple and organized!
Menu & Dietary Restrictions
We are doing a buffet style dinner with a good amount of choices. If you have restrictions or are concerned about anything please get ahold of us sooner rather than later!
