Hi all!! Thanks for visiting the site! Important things to know!  1. There will be a welcome party at our house in Denver for those in town Tuesday October 21st! Plan to start at 4pm. Ask me for the address. Apps and drinks will be available, wear what you want!  2. There is a rehearsal dinner on October 22nd (Wednesday) in Estes Park that the main party will attend at The Barrell, but all are invited to join if you are in the area after we do the traditional things. You’re good to come around 7pm! We’d love to see you! 3. John and I will be staying in Estes park till Saturday if you want to stick around Friday night as well :) we’ll be in an Airbnb downtown  Can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

Our Wedding

Nicole decided to take a day by herself in Boston, MA. She went to the Museum of Science and ate lunch overlooking the seaport. She was feeling a little bit under the weather, but she wanted to spend more time exploring, so she went down the coast of MA and ended up in WAY too much traffic. As time went on, eventually it was time for dinner. She researched places around the area and realized she had YET to visit America's hometown, Plymouth, MA. She found a craft kitchen called Food Court, that had excellent reviews and decidedly went to go check it out. Food Court felt warm, dark lighting, smells of sweet cuisine wafted out of the back kitchen. She took a seat at the bar and ordered a craft cocktail. Nicole decided to order a corn styled soup (DELICIOUS), and "the ocean offering", an upscale dish with scallops (one of THE BEST things to order by the coast). Her meal was served by John, a very extremely attractive chef, which threw Nicole a bit off guard. Just kidding, do we ever think Nicole turns down an opportunity like this? She did not. Small talk turned into more real talk, and before you know it, John asked her to go grab a drink at a cocktail bar next store called Honey Baby (highly recommend). A drink turned into two and she literally could not get him to shut up LOL (seriously). He later told her he had never initially felt that comfortable with someone EVER. At first, they were very casual with whatever was happening between them. She told him right off the bat that she was moving back to Denver, CO and he had made mention that he had always wanted to go back there. Time progressed, "I love you's" were dropped, and Nicole eventually asked John to help her move to Colorado, and then November came and she asked him to move with her. A lot of "good-byes" later, and a long process of selling his restaurant, he moved to Colorado with her in April. She moved in January first because she had a job and apartment already lined up. Fast forward to now, John proposed on top of Pico do Areeiro on the island of Madeira, Portugal. A place where her father was born and spent the first 4 years of his life. John is also Portuguese, his family is from an island of the Azores. We are SO excited to be starting our future together and look forward to starting it in Estes Park, CO at Della Terra Chateau with all of you!

As long as you don't mind driving along mountain ridges, this is one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL scenic highways I have been on.

Trail Ridge Road: Rocky Mountain National Park Scenic Byway

If you're looking to see a lake in the national park! This is a very easy place to walk up to, maybe 250ft to the edge of a gorgeous lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. I believe you have to look online to get a time slot to go! Very popular spot. Costs $2 to get a time slot a month before, or you can look at 7pm the night before you go and get one then. Costs around $35 to get into the actual park! Look online for details
