Our Wedding

We've been friends since 2012. We were in close proximity of each other, working at the same place, sharing mutual friends, but didn't necessarily look each others way. Fast forward to 2018, I (John) had a friend ask me if I wanted tickets to a concert that they had to give up, but there was a catch. I had to ask Nicole to join me as a date. Again, we've been friends for awhile and always thought that Nicole was a fun (and cute) person to be around so what's the harm in going on one date? Then what's the harm in going on a second date? Then a third. We found that we love to do the fun wild things together, and we love to relax together. Play pinball, go on hikes, workout, travel, look for views.. make food, go on a walk, read, watch a favorite show.. we enjoy each other. One of my (Nicole here) favorite memories together is a time that we hammocked near Palisade head so that we could get up and see the sunrise. After settling in for the night in each of our hammocks, we slept so well.. until around 2AM, when it started to downpour (NOOOOO)! We had to gather our gear &amp; run to the car, because iiiiii made us sleep without our rain tarp. I wanted to *SeE tHe sTaRs* We had to try and sleep in the car after all of our stuff got wet. In the end, we did see the glorious sunrise and went for breakfast at 'Duluth Grill' one of our favorite spots in Duluth, MN. John asked me (Nicole again) to marry him after taking me to a days worth of views. He knows that's my favorite. He asked me by the water, Lake Superior. I'll always love superior for so many reasons, but this one stands above the others. We are so excited to celebrate with you, our loved ones, this June. Everyone that has been a part of our story, we love you so much. Thank you!!
