Nicole and Chris first met during their elementary years at Starkey, they were in Mrs. Littles class together in 4th grade. They went on to go to the same middle and high schools, but they never really connected until after college.

Nicole would stop at the Publix that Chris worked at after some of her shifts and Chris took notice of her. It took some time, but Chris would eventually ask her out on a date.

On February 15, 2020 they went on their first date to a Tampa Bay Lightning game. After a few more dates, they decided to officially become a couple on February 29, 2020. Neither had any idea what was going to happen in just a few weeks.

The COVID lockdown was unsettling because nobody knew what the future held. However, this gave Nicole and Chris the chance to really get to know each other without much external noise or distraction, and they fell in love.

As the world started opening up a bit, Nicole and Chris were able to start traveling a bit more and seeing the world together. Some of their favorite trips have been Seattle, WA, Savannah, GA, and a Caribbean cruise.

In May of 2022 Chris and Nicole moved into their first apartment together. 2022 was a very hard year, but Chris and Nicole leaned on each other and got through. To help with some of the sadness, they decided to add to their family. They adopted their little orange pup, Sweet Potato, and started their dog parent era.

Fast forward to December 12, 2023, just a couple of weeks before Christmas. Chris took Nicole to see the lights at the Botanical Gardens in Largo. As they were walking through the wedding garden, Chris got down on one knee to propose. Nicole said yes and now here we are!

They are looking forward to celebrating their love with their closest friends and family next Spring. They can’t wait to see you there!
