It all started through our best friends. They were the ones you brought us together, but neither of us knew at the time that our friendship would turn into something more. We were just two people who were introduced through people we trusted—nothing special, just at Coppola's birthday party. At first, I wasn’t interested in anything more than friendship. Casual chats, shared laughs—simple, easy conversations with no pressure.

But life has a funny way of surprising you.

There was an afternoon we had planned to get bubble tea with Ashley. But at the last minute, she backed out. Maybe she actually couldn't make it or maybe it was her plan all along—who knows? It was a little awkward at first, but we still decided to go ahead and meet. Just the two of us. It did in fact become our first date, but I didn't consider it that at the time.

Shortly after there was an evening where I had gone to his house to hangout and watch movies (Austin Powers and Friday the 13th 2, an interesting combo). That evening was the beginning of something beautiful. It was the moment I realized that sometimes life has its own way of showing us the path we're meant to take, even if we don't always see it coming.

From that day forward, we were inseparable. What began as a meeting through friends, blossomed into a love story neither of us could have predicted. Our friendship turned into something so much more—something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
