On July 17th Curtis took Nicole on a hike to Diablio Lake. Curtis had planned to take Nicole to a specific road that would take them to the lake but the park had other plans. The road that Curtis was supposed to take was closed. So, the two of them headed up the road to see if they could find another spot to grill their food. When they found a campground, they walked around for 30 minutes looking for a spot. With no luck, they headed to Vista Point ledge (a popular spot for engagements and eloping, according to Nicole). Shortly after taking in the view, Curtis was on one knee asking Nicole to marry him. She said YES! He then told her that her bestfriend Lauren, her parents, his mom, and his friend Kellen and Jonny were around somewhere and they needed to go find them. Curtis was so stressed the whole time because the two were supposed to be meeting everyone down the road that was closed. In the end, everything worked out and the couple got to celebrate with everyone.
