Colin and Nicole both attended Pace University which is where they first met, but didn’t really know each other yet…

In 2009, Colin and Nicole both attended a finance club meeting at Pace. It was at this meeting that Colin first noticed Nicole. He saw her walk into the room, and spent the whole meeting working on his introduction line. But, when the time came to introduce himself, all he could say was “hey, nice shoes!” Nicole glanced down at her hot pink converse high tops, gave a quick thanks, and bounced off. Colin planned to say something better at the next meeting, but Nicole never returned to the finance club. Alas, the first meeting was a bust but Colin counts this as the first meet.

A few years went by and although they saw each other around campus, never really got to know each other. In 2013, they were both living in the same building on Wall Street. They ran into each other in the laundry room and this was the first real introduction between the two. It didn’t start the relationship, but it did mark the beginning of them knowing each other.

In December 2016, Colin invited Nicole to his 27th birthday party at a club. It might have been the music or the holiday season, but something about this meet up changed things. This was the beginning of something new, and they’ve been together ever since.

In the last 5+ years, Colin and Nicole have been living in NYC, having all of the foodie adventures and traveling to new places.
