Our Wedding

OUR STORY In September 2021 we first met at a cafe for a first date after matching on a dating app. We began to date each other going out for hikes in the river valley, skating at the outdoor rinks in the city and enjoying each other's company over spooky movies and endless episodes of The Office. We grew very close over the following few months and fell in love during our first visit to Jasper when we skated on Patricia Lake. Since then we've been inseparable enjoying many skiing and hiking trips, gardening, renovating, and participating in running events. On February 14, 2023 we got engaged while snow shoeing on Maligne Lake. We later welcomed our adorable puppy, Ziggy, into our home. We're very happy to be sharing the next big step in our journey with our friends and family in a place which means so much to us.

Accomodations

TRANSPORTATION There will be a shuttle between the ceremony, reception and Forest Park Hotel. The shuttle will transport guests from the Forest Park Hotel to the ceremony spot and then to the reception. There will be staggered shuttles at the end of the evening to take guests back to the hotel. Shuttles from Forest Park Hotel to Maligne Lookout for our ceremony begin at 2:30 pm. Shuttles from Maline Lookout to Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen for our reception begin at 4:30 pm. Shuttles from our reception back to the Forest Park Hotel are at 10:00 pm, 11:00 pm and midnight. For guests wanting to drive there is ample parking at both locations.

ADDED ACTIVITIES     We have a few activities planned for the days before and after our wedding. Please join us for any activities you are able to make!   Friday March 22, 2024: Ski day at Marmot Basin (Neil only), Jasper Park Brewery dinner and drinks at 6pm   Saturday March 23, 2024: Wedding day!   Sunday March 24, 2024: Maligne Canyon ice walk 1pm (ice cleats/crampons needed!)
