What should I wear?
The wedding is western/country themed, and the location is in a barn. Please dress however you like and be comfortable. No formal dress code.
Where is the venue, is it close to Pincher Creek?
The venue is near the Oldman River Dam. There is signage posted on the highway that says "Heritage Acres and Oldman River Dam". If you are coming from the West, drive past Pincher Station and turn left onto Range Road 785 which is also the turnoff to the Oldman Dam site. If you are coming from the East, you won't hit Pincher Station, but will turn right at Range Road 785. Then follow the signage posted for Heritage Acres Farm Museum/N&S wedding. It is actually very easy to find!
WARNING* I have just discovered that when you type the name into your map, there is a "Heritage Acres Farm Museum" in the town of Pincher Creek. This is NOT the venue. The physical address is 7316 Range Road 293 and typing this into google maps will take you there. It appears it changes to 7316 Range Road 293A after inputting it, this is still correct.
Will there be transportation to the venue?
Yes. There is a bus available from Pincher Creek for those who wish to use it. You may have to drive to the venue and then take the bus back after checking into your hotel, unless you are staying Friday and Saturday nights. Check in is at 4:00 pm so we have scheduled a pick up/drop off to the venue around this.
The schedule is as follows:
1:15 pm: Pick up at the Heritage Inn, then the Ramada. Then directly to the venue
4:30 pm: Pick up at the Heritage Inn, then the Ramada. Then directly to the venue
10:00 pm: Bus leaves the venue to do a hotel drop off
12:30 am: Bus leaves the venue to do a hotel drop off. Final drop off.
There is no cost to our guests for this service.
What time is the ceremony and the reception?
The ceremony is at 2:00 p.m. and the reception will start at 5:45 p.m. SHARP. If you are not using the provided transportation, please plan to arrive by 1:30 p.m.
What is there to do between the Ceremony and Reception?
Please stay and enjoy the grounds and play outdoor games, such as Cornhole and yard Jenga. The bar will be opening at 1:00 pm and snacks will start at 3:00 p.m.
Heritage Acres Farm Museum is just that - a museum! Feel free to wander the grounds and check out all the historic farm equipment and outbuildings. Your admission has been paid as part of the wedding. There is a link to the website in the 'Things to do" tab.
What will the weather be like?
As most of us know, Pincher Creek area can be windy! Everything will be located inside the barn, but we are hoping for low to mid 20's for the day.
Is there camping?
There will be camping available at the venue. It is not a typical campsite, but more of large fields with lots of space to set up. Camping is $20/night - please text or email Nicole to reserve your spot and arrange payment.
