Our Wedding

In a world of swipes and matches, fate decided to give us not one, but two chances to connect - we matched on not just one, but two dating apps! After discovering a shared love of Machine Gun Kelly's music and coffee, we went on our first date on January 31, 2021, at what would immediately become one of our favorite Cleveland coffee spots, 27 Club Coffee. From that very first pink latte, we knew there was something special brewing between us. What started as a simple coffee date turned into the beginning of an incredible journey filled with love, laughter, and countless coffee adventures.

How It All Began

From the very beginning, our relationship has been an adventure—literally! Our first trip together took us to Columbus for the 2021 Sad Summer Fest, and since then, we’ve traveled near and far - from Chicago to the Bahamas just to name a few. In 2022 we added a different kind of adventure to our lives by adopting Calle, our sweet rescue pup from the streets of Mexico. When we’re not traveling or spoiling Calle and Sparkle, we love hosting game nights, making memories with our amazing friends and family, and sharing our lives with the people who mean the most to us.

The Journey

Every year, we have a tradition of visiting Downtown Cleveland’s Public Square to take in the magical Christmas lights—but this time, Justin had a little extra sparkle planned! The plan was devised with a little help from Nicole’s sister, Bethany, and executed with the help of his sister, Kaitlin. The evening started with dinner and drinks at our favorite spot, 27 Club Coffee, before we bundled up and headed out into the winter night to admire the lights. Just as we were leaving and taking a few pictures, Justin got down on one knee in the cold night air and popped the question. Completely caught off guard, Nicole was in total shock—but without hesitation, she eagerly said “YES!” It was the perfect, cozy, love-filled start to our next chapter together.

The Proposal

We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you! Our wedding day will be a reflection of our love—fun, intimate, and full of dancing. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, we’re looking forward to a night filled with laughter, great music, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re hitting the dance floor with us, sharing in heartfelt moments, or simply enjoying the celebration, we’re so grateful to have you by our side as we start this next chapter. Bethany is Nicole’s younger sister, lifelong sleepover buddy, and personal cheerleader. Growing up, you could find Nicole and Bethany spending hours playing Polly Pockets and ATV Offroad Fury. When they're together, you'll find them exploring Miami, quoting Bob's Burgers in the family group chat, and supporting each other through life's ups and downs. Bethany has been right by Nicole's side her whole life - keeping her grounded and bringing out her best self.

Bethany Tober

Nick is Justin's childhood friend and trusted gym bro. Growing up, you could find them spending hours playing video games, riding bikes around the neighborhood, and hanging out at bonfires and concerts. Today, you'll find them hitting the gym, grabbing a coffee, still laughing just as hard, and showing up for each other the same way they always have. Nick is always there for Justin to keep things light, pushing him to be better, and always having his back.

Nick Fondale

Ariel and Nicole first met in high school band class, and really hit off their lifelong friendship in AP biology lab. When they're together, you can find Nicole and Ariel enjoying a movie night extravaganza (scary movie + take out & dessert of course). Ariel’s kindness and confidence helps remind Nicole to hone her own strength and independence.

Joey is Justin's childhood friend, teammate, and late night gaming partner. Growing up, you could find them on the soccer field, riding their bikes to the gas station, or staying up late playing Mario Party and FIFA. Joey has been a constant through the years, bringing competition, laughs, and unforgettable memories along the way.

Gabi is Nicole's senior year college roommate and Cleveland adventure pal. From chocolate chip pancake nights in Keller A to encouraging Nicole to join AXO as an alum, she's been a constant source of support and fun. When they're together, you can find them catching comedy shows, hiking local trails, or trying out new Cleveland restaurants.

Gabriela Botzman

Noah is Justin's college roommate and hunting buddy. They first met at Slippery Rock and supported each other through undergrad and graduate school. Outside of their constant study sessions, they could be found in the woods, leading run club, or at the fitness center. Noah has been a steady presence in Justin's life bringing friendship, adventure, and plenty of great times along the way.

Kaitlin is Nicole's soon to be sister-in-law and one of her favorite people to team up with, Whether they are competing in family game night or supporting each other when life goes a little sideways, Kaitlin always brings humor, heart, and a steady calm. Nicole is incredibly lucky to be gaining Kaitlin as a sister and keeping her as a close friend.

Kaitlin Kostyo

Matt and Justin grew up together in Twinsburg and have remained lifelong friends. As kids, you could find them playing sports, working shifts together at Chili's, and somehow turning every moment into a good time. Matt has played an important role in Justin's life, shaping years of friendship and sharing the same easy humor that's always defined their friendship.
