How did a California girl and a Georgia boy end up together? It's simple! We both had a mutual love for God, the Dawgs, and adventure, but even more than that we always choose each other. "Henry is the kind of person who loves unconditionally and is down for all of my silly suggestions and ideas. He has been a rock for me during some rough moments in college and has also been one of my biggest cheerleaders through my best moments. I truly thank God for him every day and his ability to bring out love and light from the people around him. Eternally blessed to have found him." When flying in to Orange County, we recommend Santa Ana (SNA)/John Wayne/Orange County Airport because it is the closest. However, if you are looking to save on flight cost, our next recommendation would be Ontario Airport (ONT) or Los Angeles Airport (LAX). Both of these airports are the same distance from Orange County, but Ontario can be easier to navigate as it's not as big and the traffic in LA can be a nightmare depending on the day and time.

So many beaches!

Huntington Beach is known most for their surfing and bigger waves. There are good paths for walking, bike rides or roller-skating as well. Also, there are many shops in the area across from the pier if you are looking to get California beach and surf attire.

Newport Beach is a great spot to set up and enjoy the ocean as well as boogie board or body surf. There are again lots of bike and walking paths. In addition, Newport Beach has a fun little arcade and small rides located at the end of the Peninsula or otherwise known as the Balboa fun zone. You can watch some intense surfing by going to the Wedge where there are massive waves. You can also rent out a boat or gondola to take around the harbor and enjoy the sunset! There are some really fun food and drink places right by the pier as well.

Laguna Beach is easily one of the most beautiful and cute coastal towns. There are multiple coves and bays that make up the entirety of Laguna Beach and the water here is crystal clear. You can snorkel in Shaw's cove or Crescent Bay. You can see a pirate tower if you walk far enough along Victoria Beach or find the secret pools at 1,000 Steps Beach. If you really like art, this city is full of galleries and unique jewelry. It is easily one of our favorite beaches!

Laguna Beaches

Known mostly for the huge grass hill that sits at the top of the beach, Salt Creek is a great place to have a picnic or sit and watch the sunset. Plenty of people come out every single day and fly kites or play music and just sit on the hill to enjoy the amazing view of the ocean. There are also great spots to set up and watch surfers on the left side of the beach or go further down for a sunset swim.

Southern California is a tourist destination for a reason! If you are an outdoor lover there are lots of lovely hikes in the area. A personal favorite is the top of the world hike which has many branching trails from it.
