Our journey began on Tinder in 2017. Nicolette was in college in Durango, Colorado (Jordan's hometown) and Jordan was serving in the Navy in Japan when they matched,

Even though we couldn’t be together in person, we made the most of FaceTime calls and frequent pizza deliveries to Nicolette’s dorm room by Jordan. With every virtual date, our connection deepened, and by spring 2018, after months of FaceTiming, we finally met face-to-face. We soon discovered that our parents lived in neighboring cities and spent the next two summers together.

In 2019, we adopted our first fur baby, Buster, a cautious, judgy pitbull Jordan quickly won over. By 2019, Jordan had finished his time in the Navy, and Nicolette spent her summer in San Diego with him. They both moved back to Durango, Colorado so that Nicolette could finish her degree.

In 2020, Nicolette graduated, and shortly after, we expanded our little family with Belle, a sweet lab that brought even more love into our home. In 2021, life led us to Memphis, TN where Jordan started college and Nicolette began her master’s program. Though it was a hectic time, we supported each other through every challenge, growing closer with every step. We often took vacations to Nashville, Disneyland, Dollywood, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, and Ruby Falls to help keep our adventure going. On our last trip to Colorado Jordan proposed while snowmobiling in the Arapaho National Forest.

By 2024, our family grew once again with the addition of Quasimodo, another lovable pitbull who completed our pack as we prepared to move back to Colorado to be closer to family and start our careers.

Now, after 7 years of love, growth, and adventure, we’re ready to celebrate our next chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait to share our special day with you all in December 2025!
