Genesis 2:24

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

The day we prayed for, hoped for and anticipated for is finally here! We've voyaged from co-workers , to friends, to really becoming best friends, to officially being together as boyfriend and girlfriend on May 13, 2022 and now gearing up to say I do. Kerron is planning to propose to Nikita before their wedding date, as she is full time on the road as a missionary.

We knew that God was writing this story. Our small ceremony will be held in the presence of our parents and a few family members.

When we first met we didn't expect much of it. We actually didn't think we would see each other more than a few times, but God had different plans. A friendship quickly formed on a basis of so many things we had in common. From our faith, to music taste, to food choices, to where we want to live eventually, to temperature preferences, to a ringtone we both had on our phones almost two decades ago, to the wall paper we had on our what's app, and the list goes on. The budding friend ship was blossoming and we both acknowledged that there was more.

We spent as much time as our schedules allowed together doing things that we loved like, hiking, studying the bible, reading, exercising, watching movies and learning new things. We had all the ingredients to be best friends and evidently even more. We aligned spiritually, socially and we both sharpened each-other. We combined our gifts, a passion for music and a passion for film and we started working on projects together that has been an amazing process we both enjoy to a great extent. This is the beginning of our story and we will be happy to share the rest of it with you as God continues to write it.
