It was the second day of our first year of high school. During our first English class, the teacher assigned a seating chart and we were placed next to each other.

Nikk was the first seated when he extended his hand to introduce himself to Rose when she approached the empty seat in front of him. The connection was instantaneous and since that day, one has always sought out the other in other mutual classes, at lunchtime, and after school. A few days passed before phone numbers were exchanged, and a first date was planned.

We had our first date at Bountiful Greek Cafe, and on September 23rd, 2016 Nikk asked Rose to be his girlfriend presenting a pepperoni pizza with peanuts on it - Rose's interesting favorite snack at the time.

We remained together throughout all years of high school, attending every dance, and walking at graduation.

During this time, we have seen each other through highs and lows, through the deaths of family members, and through many life milestones such as getting our driver's licenses, our first jobs, and starting college.

On March 15th, 2023 we moved to Logan, Utah together.

On February 12th, 2024, Nik proposed to Rose in Las Vegas at the top of the mini Eiffel Tower after sunset.

On February 28th, 2024 we adopted our first cat, and 5 months later, we adopted our second!
