The boys always played basketball at the North Bethlehem Town Park. The brides best friend Emilee was there watching. As Nikki drove home from work, Emilee saw Nikki driving and called her to come watch the boys play. After basketball Emilee invited Connor and Nikki over to her house, with another friend. We continued to hang out together for a week straight and Connor and Nikki barely talked. The day before Nikki was leaving for her college orientation, in Florida, Connor asked her to hang out. So, they headed to the gym together, before she left for the airport. Emilee moved to Florida on July 17th, 2009, Connor was there for Nikki on that day, when she needed him the most. We decided that day we were officially dating and the rest was history!

Connor and Nikki have become avid hikers over the years, despite Nikki's fear of heights. Connor and Nikki traveled to Raquette Lake to go on a boat ride tour. After the boat ride they planned to hike Blue Mountain, which is part of the Fire Tower Challenge that Connor is in the process of completing. Nikki had never climbed a fire tour and decided August 26th, 2017 was the day to do it. The wind was very calm, although it was late in the evening and Nikki climbed up the stairs, without turning around for the first time EVER. Nikki also stayed up top longer than Connor could have expected. Once they came back down and explored the surroundings, as the sun was setting Connor got down on one knee and popped the question!
