Our Wedding

In December of 2018, Cory was at work one day and decided to ask their mutual friend, Jackie Bailey, for Nikki's phone number. Soon after, Cory called &amp; asked Nikki out on their first date. 
 
Ironically, the day of the first date was also Cory's birthday, so he decide to take her to Fujiyama in Olympia. From then on, they have been inseparable. 
 
By April of 2019, Nikki had met and fell in love with Cory's 3 children, Kadie, Colin &amp; Kylee. 
 
July of 2019 brought more excitement when Cory &amp; Nikki decided to move in together &amp; in February of 2021 they welcomed their son, Barrett, into the world. 
 
We are excited to be officially becoming a family of 6! Thank you for your love &amp; support through the years.

History of the Lord Mansion & Coach House

Built in 1923 for banker Clarence J. Lord &amp; his wife, Elizabeth, the mansion and its matching coach house are constructed in the Spanish Colonial style. Clarence served as the Mayor of Olympia from 1902-1903 &amp;&#160; founded the Capital National Bank, which prospered even during the dark economic conditions of the 1890s. Elizabeth was active in many civic organizations and was one of the founding members of the local chapter of The Daughters of the Revolution. She is remembered for her warm &amp; welcoming home &amp; her generosity to children in the community. 
 
After Clarence's death in 1937, Elizabeth donated the mansion to the State of Washington and it was opened as the Washington State Capital Museum in 1942. In 2018, the Washington State Legislature transferred stewardship of the mansion to the Evergreen State College. The college aims to honor its historic legacy by welcoming the public through its doors.
