Our Wedding

Nate and Nikki met May of 2020 through a mutual friend when they were 21 and 20 years old. The world was still shutdown but everything was slowly starting to open back up again. After hanging out within a group of friends for a while, Nate finally asked Nikki to hang out just them. Nate picked Nikki up, took her to a car meet (which got busted), they went out to eat at Portillo's, and then back out to other car meet. After that Nate and Nikki hung out almost everyday together that summer. Once they started hanging out, they never stopped. People ask what their first "real date" was, but they can't remember because everyday was something new and fun.After 4 years of dating, Nate told Nikki to take Sharon and Taylor to a specific jeweler. The jeweler wrote down everything Nikki liked. Nate asked Nikki if she wanted a big public proposal or something small and her response was "all I want is flowers". 4 months after looking at rings, Nate took Nikki to Cooper's Hawk and when the waitress asked if they were celebrating anything Nate let out out a big nervous laugh. Throughout the whole dinner Nikki thought something was up, until Nate threw her off so much she looked him straight in the face and said "I thought you were going to propose tonight". After dinner they went home sat on the back patio with a fire going and had some more wine. Nate went inside to "use the bathroom" but came back out with flowers.
