Our Wedding

Once Upon an Arena Football Game...

...perhaps the worst arena football game of all time, was our first date. From that first encounter, we have been nearly inseparable, despite living several hours apart and across state lines. For the first year, we made the best of the situation and made weekend plans together as often as possible: road trips to Casper and Devil's Tower, Deadweird, and Evan and Jen's wedding. When Nikki was finally able to move to Gillette, we were able to take the party international - Italy, Mexico, and the Caribbean! On our two year anniversary, Dexter finally popped the question! (We all thought this was going to happen while in Italy, but anywho...) The night was magical, standing in line at a book signing and getting late night Arby's. Chef's Kiss! This wedding has been over a year in the making and we're so excited to spend this time with all of our friends and family.We can't wait to see you all, to share in food, drinks, dancing, and have the best time!

Our families have been friends since tee ball, but Cale and Dexter grew into great friends in High School when Dexter joined the Tennis team. Cale is the reason Dexter has a Pokemon addiction now!

Dexter's doubles partner in High School tennis. Who would've thought that making fun of the Freshman on the team would turn into the life long friendship it has become. His milkshake always brought the boys to the yard!

Dexters Brother. The most famous Lappe. Just ask him! Dexter and Eric have always had a great time together, whether it’s on the golf course, a trip, or playing board games. However, despite whatever Eric says, Grandma has confirmed that he didnt work as hard on the farm as the other grandkids did.

Nikkis oldest friend and original partner in mischief, Emmalee and Nikki have been through thick and thin. Whether its been across the country or in the same apartment, theyll never say no binge watching Bones and a pan of brownies!

Bowling buddies for LIFE! Nikki met Jessie years ago when she started at the same office. They became fast friends (legend has it Jessie forced Nikki into it) and teammates for bowling. They’re always down to get lost on the backroads of eastern South Dakota.

Nikki's big sister and rock. Chris is the person Nikki turns to for advice and clarity. They may not always be in close proximity but when they are, you can bet they're going to have great adventures!

Oh Tommy... Hes the best guy in the world! He will give you the shirt off his back even if you were a random stranger on the side of the road needing a ride out of the way of where he was going. Hes always down for a good time. It’s guaranteed that if you dont know Tom before this wedding you will when the night is over!
