Nikki’s freshman year of college she had a space class with Nick, Brian’s roommate. For extra credit, Nikki & Nick were going to build a rocket ship. When Nick picked up Nikki to go get supplies, Brian was in the car and asked if I was in Professor X’s Statistics class. When Nikki responded “yes”, the car was all giggles. It’s now known that as Nikki walked up to the car, Brian commented to the boys about noticing Nikki in statistics class.

Later that day we accidentally spray painted a tiny circle on Dutch quad while working on Nikki’s space ship. That was the start of Brian jumping on Nikki’s crazy train, and there’s been no turning back ;)

According to Nikki, we’ve been bonded since the day we met! I latched to Brian like a little leech ;) It took 8 years of a beautiful strong friendship before we decided we couldn’t deny the undeniable.

June 2020 we said let’s do this. What a blessing to say “I do” 6 years later!

P.S. If you ask either mother when they knew, they will likely say “since the beginning”.
