Q + A

RSVPs

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 03/09/24.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We invite and prefer you to RSVP online via our wedding website.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Transportation and Accommodations

Is there parking available near your wedding venue? Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We have a full parking lot conveniently located and paved as well as handicapped accessible spaces, walkways etc. for the entire event. Great for heels and elders.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors, cocktail hour both indoors and out, and the reception will mainly be held indoors. At the occurrence of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside.

Are you reserving hotel rooms for your guests?

Yes! We have secured bundled rates for our guests at multiple locations near the venue; you may book these via the "Travel" tab. If these don't properly accommodate your needs, there are multiple hotels and B&Bs just minutes from the venue: Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and La Quinta (pet friendly!).

Dress Code

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We are asking our guests to dress in cocktail attire. For men, a suit is preferable, while women can opt for a floor length, cocktail or midi-dress as well as a formal jumpsuit.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

No, please wear what you are comfortable with. If you would like to match to our wedding's general color palette/theme, we would suggest neutral, earthy colors such as black, grey, green, blush or toupe.

Plus-Ones and Children

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate you and your kiddos. Please request a plus-one for your little ones if not already explicitly included in your invite so they may be added and approved for the guest list. There will be children's activities during the event.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

You must request a plus-one via your online RSVP in order for them to be included on the guest list and in your party. We are happy to accommodate you but we must approve every addition for logistical reasons.

Menu and Dietary Restrictions

What type of food will be served?

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of poultry, pasta, vegetarian dishes and salads.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! We will be serving a variety of beer, wine and spirits.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! Please note your dietary restrictions on your online RSVP and we will accommodate you accordingly.

Wedding Registry and Gifts

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we ask that you consider contributing to our moving fund, as we are soon moving across the country and donating most of our possessions in the process. Your donation will help us start over!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes! We've put together a gift registry of things we need to complete our home and for our new life together. We prefer contributions to our moving fund rather than physical gifts, as we will be moving in the fall and donating most of our possessions. Other FAQs

What is the wedding day itinerary?

We aim to start the ceremony at 4:30 PM, with cocktail hour featuring hors d'oeuvres and lawn games following at 5:00 PM. The reception will then begin at 6:00 PM, with dinner service starting shortly thereafter. We hope to make our exit at 10:30 PM that evening. We request that our guests arrive no later than 4:00 PM in order for everyone to find their seats before the ceremony begins.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes and no: We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning no photos or videos. This will allow the moment to be more intimate, prevent noise and distractions, and alleviate stress on our photographer. We invite you to be fully present with us; Please keep all devices turned off and put away during the ceremony. On the other hand, we encourage and implore you to capture as many moments as your heart desires for the rest of the event.
