The vibes are great, the drinks are wonderful, but the food is alright. Located in the RiNo district, it's about 30 minutes from the Lone Tree area.
Jason and Nikki had their first date here. Amazing Mexican food, amazing margaritas. Located in Littleton, it's about 20 minutes from the Lone Tree area.
Amazing beer and food. They do have a beer garden, but it may be closed in the winter. Located in Littleton, it's about 20 minutes from the Lone Tree area.
A fun dive bar that leans into the nautical theme -- the seating is in little fishing boats. Located off of Broadway, it's about a 20 minute drive from the Lone Tree area.
Fantastic brunch with live music. Located downtown in the Ballpark Area, it's about a 30 minute drive from the Lone Tree area.
We love their frozen chi-chi's and coconut shrimp! They can get very busy, so I recommend making a reservation. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Located off of Broadway, it is about a 20 minute drive from the Lone Tree area.
Our friend's boyfriend owns this brewery. and it's packed with great food, great drinks, and lots of games like a golf simulator and axe throwing. Located in Central Park, it's about a 30 minute drive from the Lone Tree area.
Tons of little eateries and bars located in this block in the middle of Downtown Denver. Such a fun little place. It's about a 30 minute drive from the Lone Tree area.
Huge food hall but for beer! Features a very large outdoor area with a massive TV, it's a great Football-watching location. Because the Stock Show and Rodeo will be happening as well, there will be free live country music throughout the week/weekend! It is about a 30 minute drive from the DTC area.
Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station
Created by over 350 local and international artists, Convergence Station features four floors of Meow Wolf's most epic art to date, an interactive performance and event venue, and an unforgettable story of multiversal travel through alien worlds.
A very fun, interactive kind of art installation featuring several rooms with different experiences. This will take you several hours (our first visit took us 3 hours, but we did get lost). It is quite stimulating, so please look up images before buying tickets. We would hate for anyone to go here and feel overwhelmed.
Georgetown Loop Railroad
Quick, fun little train ride through the mountains. Book your ride early, as it tends to fill up quickly!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Incredible bucket-list type of venue built into the Red Rocks. If it's not snowing, we highly recommend checking this place out. It is a lot of stairs to get to the top of the venue, so be prepared. There is a restaurant inside the venue that should be open, and there is alcohol to celebrate with once you get to the top!
Denver Union Station
Union Station is Denver's train station, and offers shops and restaurants/bars inside. It is also a 10 minute walk from Blake Street where all the downtown bars are at.
Please note: Denver has an awful homeless problem, so you will experience homeless people here. It has also gotten dangerous to be out downtown at night, so please be careful if you choose to visit downtown!
Pindustry
Pindustry is a mini Punch Bowl Social. It offers live music, bowling alleys, arcade games, darts, cornhole, multiple bars, and miscellaneous things to do. It's located near the Marriott DTC hotel.
Winter Whiskey Tasting Festival
If you’re looking to warm up from a cold winter’s day with a delectable round of spirits (and you’re over the age of 21), the Denver Winter Whiskey Festival is a blast. Featuring over a dozen Colorado distilleries, guests will have the opportunity to try a myriad of samples.
Taking place on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, visitors will get to try 15-20 different 0.25oz pours of whiskey. Previous brands that were in attendance included Barrell Craft Spirits, Branch & Barrel Distilling, Breckenridge Distillery, Copper Sky Distillery, Distillery 291, Golden Moon Distillery, Ironton Distillery & Crafthouse, Mythology Distillery, and The Long Drink Company.
National Western Stock Show and Rodeo
The Stock Show and Rodeo runs from Jan. 11-26. During this time, there will also be live country music at Number Thirty Eight (https://www.nmbr38.com/)
