It all started in 2014 when Nikki was hired into Dominion. Nikki's friend and co-worker was walking her around the shop. She noticed this very handsome man working; he took her breath away. She couldn't even look nor talk to him as he would give her butterflies in her stomach. Life had them in different situations at the time and they never pursued each other. Lives changed and 7 years later Nikki resigned from her position at Dominion. Nikki's friends were throwing her a going away party. Doug messaged Nikki and asked if he missed her party, which he hadn't, it was still a week away. Nikki then opened up and told Doug how she felt about him, and how she couldn't even talk to him without getting the butterfly feelings. Doug then confessed that he thought Nikki hated him because she would never talk to him. A few months later they began their journey, they hit it off so well! Nikki was the happiest person in the world when Doug asked her to be his girlfriend, even happier when he proposed to her.

We are so lucky to have found each other and can't wait to tie the knot. We make each other so happy and we know we will have a wonderful life together.
