Q + A

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. For women, vibrant colored dresses are preferred, and since the ceremony will be held outdoors, we recommend breathable fabrics to keep you comfortable. Gentlemen, khakis and a button down or nice polo will do.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Please RSVP by April 12th. We’ll be finalizing details shortly after, so if we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. You can RSVP right here on our website—just click the RSVP tab and search your name. We truly hope you can make it and celebrate with us!

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE VENUE?

We ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. This will give everyone plenty of time to park, find a seat, and settle in before we begin.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Our venue is located in Skyline, Alabama, a charming spot about an hour outside of Huntsville. Huntsville and Scottsboro offer plenty of hotel and lodging options to suit a variety of preferences. We’ll have recommended accommodations listed here on our website to help make planning easy!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Because of our venue size and the intimate nature of our celebration, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

We absolutely adore your little ones — if you know us, you know how special they are to us! However, to maintain a relaxed and intimate atmosphere with our closest friends, mentors, and family, we’ve decided to keep both the ceremony and reception adults-only. The only children in attendance will be our family members who are part of the wedding party. We hope this gives parents a chance to unwind, celebrate, and enjoy the evening kid-free!

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Yes! A full dinner will be served at the reception following the ceremony. We can’t wait to enjoy a wonderful meal and celebrate with you.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED?

Our venue is a dry venue, so no alcohol will be served. But don’t worry — we’ll have some fun signature drinks to keep the celebration festive!

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

This is a big one — thank you in advance for respecting this request. We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means no phones, cameras, or devices during the ceremony. It’s so important to us that every guest is fully present — and that our professional photos aren’t interrupted by phones in the aisle or screens in the background. We promise to share sneak peeks from our photographer as soon as we can, and there will be plenty of time after the ceremony for pictures, hugs, and Instagram-worthy moments! Your presence, undistracted, is truly the best gift you can give us.
