Q + A

When Should We Arrive?

The wedding festivities begin June 3, 2025! Still, we understand that not all guests will be able to arrive on or before June 3. We recommend arriving no later than June 2 (to the extent possible) to ensure that you have enough time to settle in and enjoy the resort's amenities before wedding day. For those who wish to arrive earlier, our room block begins on June 1st; so please feel free to arrive early and enjoy an extended vacation!

Do I Need A Passport?

Yes, you will need a passport to enter into the Dominican Republic. To be safe, please check your passports ASAP to ensure that they will not expire within six months of our Wedding date (through November 2025!). Some countries do not allow entry within six months of expiry. If that is the case, we recommend renewing your passport as soon as possible (please plan to allow for up to three months for renewal).

Are There Any Customs Forms That I Need To Fill Out Before Entering The Dominican Republic?

Yes, the Dominican Republic requires all entrants to complete a digital immigration form before or upon arrival. Your airline should prompt you to complete this form as a part of your check-in process when both entering and leaving the country.

We recommend completing this form on your phone before your travel date and taking a screenshot of your QR code for easy access.

Do I need to stay at Casa De Campo Resort & Villas?

Yes! All guests must stay at Casa de Campo and must book their stay through our wedding room block link. The wedding room block will only available until March 4th. Any accommodations made after that date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to a different rate.

Is The Resort All-Inclusive?

The choice is yours! We are allowing each of our guests to select whether they would like to enjoy a "room only" experience or an all-inclusive experience. Guests will make this decision when selecting your preferred accommodations. The room does not default to all-inclusive, so be sure to select that when booking if you are interested. Selecting all-inclusive will include most Casa de Campo restaurants as well as drinks and certain activities. For those who do not choose all-inclusive, payment is a la carte.

If you did not originally choose all-inclusive, you can add the all-inclusive supplement after, you can send an email to reserva12@ccampo.com.do with the request. If you do decide to choose the all-inclusive option, it must be fore the whole stay.

How Do We Travel Throughout The Resort?

Casa de Campo offers complimentary golf carts for each reservation, which resort guests may use to travel anywhere throughout the property. If you are looking to go to Minitas Beach, The Marina, Altos de Chavon, or just explore Casa de Campo, your golf cart is a fantastic and fun way to get around. We recommend downloading the Casa De Campo App as it includes a map so you can get familiar with the property before hitting the road on the golf cart. Alternatively you can request a shuttle from the hotel concierge.

That said, please do NOT use your golf cart to travel to or from the wedding ceremony or reception if you plan on drinking. We will provide additional transportation for wedding-related events. Please check back closer to the wedding date to receive additional information on that transportation.

Can We Bring Our Children?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding events an adults-only event with the exception of some immediate family. Still, this occasion is as much your vacation as it is a chance to celebrate! So, please feel free to bring your children to the resort if you would like to make this a family trip, but please prepare arrangements for the wedding festivities if you choose to do so.

For more information regarding family activities, contact (809) 523-2522 or via email to reserve a space in a camp, book a nanny, or request more information.

What Currency Does The Dominican Republic Use?

You do not need to convert your money. The dollar is widely accepted on the resort. Make sure to watch your bill when you go to pay, as many restaurants there already include the 10% gratuity that is the customary restaurant tip down there. Consider bringing $1s and $5s for tipping various service members.

What is the dress code?

Welcome Party Attire: Attire: Dressy casual! Women can wear sundresses, breezy maxi dresses and flats or block/wedge heels. Men, can wear a short/long sleeved button downs, polos are acceptable with nice slacks/shorts.

Wedding Day Attire: Elegant Resort Cocktail! We suggest men wear a suit and women wear a midi or long dress. Breathable fabrics are recommended. For women, please note that the ceremony, cocktail hour and route to the reception will be over cobblestone, so a block heel is recommended. We will have flip flops to change into if your feet tire!

Should you wish to reserve hair and make-up appointments for any of the wedding events, Casa de Campo Resort & the Marina, have on-site beauty salons for hair, makeup, and nail services. We recommend scheduling your appointments well in advance of your arrival, as the salon appointments fill up quickly.

What will the weather be like?

The DR is tropical, so be prepared for sunshine and 80-90F degree weather. Being that the wedding is taking place early June the humidity will be high, so plan your clothing/hair products accordingly!
