Justin was and is a bit of a romantic... To be completely transparent, he knew he wanted to marry Nikki before there was even a formal in-person introduction.

With some careful planning, and a little bit of courage, social media stalking turned into an order of Nikki's bowls. The day arrived for their first interaction - and let's just say that Justin's long walk up to Nikki's door was anything but smooth. She handed him his bowls while he pretty much stared at the ground the entire time. Justin was able to manage a few words through his episode of embarrassment, but if it weren't for the coffee he picked up for her on the drive over, his chances may have evaporated at that moment.

That was the very first time Justin and Nikki met.

Now we find ourselves in the present moment. Nikki and Justin have been in each other's lives for just under two years, but it would be a disservice to tell this tale as only a story of two, because it's a family of three. There are endless memories shared between Nikki, Justin, and little Emma. Love has been shared over family gatherings, belly laughs, silly photos, boat rides, home cooked meals, and plane rides around the globe.

It was the final adventure oversees, to what felt like was another world, is where Justin asked Nikki to be his forever person, and she said yes.

Time does not define love for Justin and Nikki. It's the quality of that time spent, and their commitment to one another, is what makes their love unique.
