The bride and groom both attended Kent State University and though crossing each other's paths multiple times... Nate admits that he was too nervous to make a move back then.

Fast forward a few years later... Nate decided it was his time to shine. He reached out to his go to girl, Kail, who just so happens to be one of the brides best girlfriend's (now a bridesmaid in the wedding)! Kail sent over Nikkie's number to the groom and the love story began.

After falling in love, getting to know/love each other's family and friends, etc. Nate knew Nikkie was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Covid hit hard but that didn't stop Nate from getting down on one knee on March 20th, 2020. The proposal took place at a getaway cabin in Ohio, just the two of them.

Nikkie said yes that night to the man of her dreams and love her of life. Now, the bride and groom are about to live happily ever after.
