Attended a wedding with a group of friends (s/o Paul and Alexia!). Tae started to take notice of Nikko. Nikko was totally oblivious.

From June 2023 to January 2024, we grew closer as friends through serving on our church worship team together and spending time in mutual friend groups. Tae wanted to be more than friends starting in September 2023. Nikko continued to be oblivious until January 2024, but even after recognizing his feelings, decided to do nothing about them until February.

We admitted we liked each other in mid-February! It still took us a little before we started dating though (Nikko's fault).

Nikko asked Tae out on a first date! Within 12 hours of asking her on a first date, we also became official. Nikko wanted to make up for lost time.

First date! We got some gluten-free pastries and coffee. We also announced to our close friends that we were (finally!) dating.

First "I love you"! Tae said it first. Nikko responded with "Dang it!", but only because he had something special planned.

One month of dating and first kiss! Nikko had written Tae a song to tell her "I love you".

Nikko flew down to Texas to meet Tae's family for the first time and secure her dad's blessing. (Thanks Greg!)

Nikko proposed and Tae said "yes!".
