We meet up and hit it off at a young-adult retreat hosted by one of the local churches. This retreat was in Tennessee in 2023 with guest from all over the country.

Both of us been born in Belarus (small country in Central/Eastern Europe) and at a young age immigrated with families to USA. Alina's family settled in Queens neighborhood of NYC and a few years ago moved up to the town of Utica. Nick's family settled in Oregon, and been living there. Nick has lived in various parts of Pacific Northwest in his young adult life.

Both of us enjoy the outdoors and spending time outside. We both enjoy walks/hikes in nature, as well as city exploring. Although sometimes we both find much enjoyment to spend some time home with a cup of tea, next to a fireplace and work on a puzzle.
