Brett and I met online in E harmony. So I decided to ask Brett this question.

What made you decide to join a dating website?

Brett: Due to work arrangements, it is difficult to meet people the normal way. I dont like to go on a pub and meet random women too, it is not me. So I decided to try online dating E harmony. After 4 hours of being on that website, I found Nilen.

Side note: Brett subscribed for 12 months hahahahah and found me in 4 hours. Best dollar ever spent daw. Until now, he will not tell me how much he paid. I paid 30 bucks lol.

Nilen: I was just recently discharged from the army and moved back to Perth from Brisbane. I was having a hard time being a civilian and I find that socialising was quite difficult. The Army changes you a bit. So I have decided to meet new people in a more controlled environment. Just have a coffee or lunch with a maximum time of 1 hour. I did that for about a month and I got bored and just as I was about to unsubscribe, Brett sent me a message. I was living in Baldivis that time and he is in Safety bay. So I was like, oh well why not. I told him to meet me at Sunset.

Brett thought "Sunset" like the when the sun sets hahahaha. i sent him a message around 11.30 that I am on my way to Sunset.

Apparently, he has just made some pizza, he said, it is still midday! lol. It clicked in his brain that we are meeting at a restaurant called Sunset in Rockingham foreshore. We always had a good laugh recalling that.

Anyways, Brett is very chatty and the 1 hour plan went to two ish hours and had to leave because I was picking up the kids.

We decided to go for a second date the next day after school drop off to Ikea. We both love Ikea and I needed to get stuff so It was really good. Casual, relaxed. I was at ease.

Brett said that he really liked me because I was the opposite of all the women he met. Whatever that is hahahaha. After that, the rest was history.
