ARE YOU OFFERING ANY SORT OF TRANSPORTATION?
Unfortunately, no. We are not offering transportation to or from the wedding. All of our guests are staying in different areas of town and we are unable to accommodate all pickup/drop off areas. If driving to the event, please leave your car if you plan on drinking at the reception. If you are calling an uber/lyft, we highly suggest calling this ride 30 minutes in advance to ensure a ride or to plan one ahead. We also recommend contacting shuttle/bus services if you are coming in a large group!
IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes! Parking is available on site. You can leave your cars overnight. You MUST pick it up the next day (11/8) between 10:00am-2:00pm.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE WEDDING?
Semi-Formal:
(ladies: flowy maxi dress, semi-formal or cocktail dresses like a maxi or midi)
(gents: lightweight suit, a button-down shirt, slacks or chinos and a suit jacket)
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
As much as we adore your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (with the exception of our precious flower girls and ring bearers). We want to ensure all of our guests can have a relaxing, enjoyable evening. We appreciate you making arrangements prior to the wedding day.
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Outdoors! Although we of course are hoping for perfect wedding weather, we cannot control Mother Nature.
The Island House is situated on the Stono River and under a tent. In the event of rain, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be moved under the tent.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Unfortunately, only guests listed on your invitation are allowed to attend.
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Yes! We will have a full bar supplying drinks all night long.
