How do I get to San Marino?

Travel by plane or car. The nearest airport is Bologna Marconi (BLQ). Renting a car to drive from Bologna to San Marino is recommended for easier mobility. Alternatively, you can use a shuttle bus from Bologna Airport to San Marino or travel by train to Rimini Train Station and then take a taxi or a bus to San Marino. Having your own car can be convenient for moving around San Marino and its surroundings.

Where should I stay in San Marino?

We recommend that you consider staying in the historical centre ("centro storico"). The wedding ceremony and transportation to the reception will be arranged from this location. If you have your own car, you can also stay somewhere closer to the reception venue or anywhere in San Marino you like :) Please visit our "Accommodation" page for more tips.

How do I get from Bologna Airport to San Marino by public transportation?

Options include taking a shuttle bus from the airport to Rimini (see Shuttle Italy Airport Timetables), or the Marconi Express to Bologna Central Station, followed by a train to Rimini. From Rimini, you can take a shuttle bus or a taxi to San Marino (taxi costs about EUR 60 one way). We highly recommend having your own car for flexibility.

Where can I park in the historical center?

Several parking options are available in the historical centre, depending on your accommodation. The nearest parkings to the wedding ceremony venue (Palazzo del Governo) are P5 and P6. For more information regarding parkings, you can check the website (http://www.sanmarinopertutti.com/) or ask at your hotel, as they sometimes offer discounted rates.

What is the best way to get from Belgrade to San Marino?

Air Serbia offers direct flights from Belgrade to Bologna on Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, and Friday evening, with return flights on Sunday evening and early Monday morning. We advise renting a car in Bologna. Alternatively, driving from Belgrade to San Marino takes 11 to 13 hours, depending on traffic and borders. Consider staying overnight in Slovenia or Trieste, which are halfway.
