Greg and Nina met in May of 2019 at Greg's and Josh's (Nina's older brother and Greg's close friend) college graduation. Even though it was just a quick introduction, Greg immediately stood out to Nina (her mom calls it a "God wink"). From then on, Nina would joke with Josh about setting her up with Greg. Soon after that, Josh realized Greg and Nina would indeed make a great couple (he likes to take credit for the relationship) and started to try and set them up. But despite Josh's best efforts, distance (Nina was in Texas and Greg was in California) kept anything from coming to fruition. For then anyways...

Fast forward to summer of 2023. Greg had moved to Texas for a new adventure and traveled to Waco, Texas to visit Josh while Josh was in town for Nina's law school graduation. From that date on, Greg and Nina talked every day. And lots of hour-long phone calls, fun dates, and memories later, now they're engaged!

Fun fact: when Nina first told Josh that she thought Greg might also be interested in her, Josh exclaimed, "WOW. I think you guys are going to get married!" And here we are!
