Salween is one of our absolute favorite Thai places. While the curries are so good, we all voted the Chicken Pad Thai as the best dish on the menu! Once, I was so homesick that I had Brian fly to New Mexico with Pad Thai in his carry-on so I could have a taste of home.
The Old Market is full of shops and restaurants. If you have some time to wander around, this is a beautiful cobblestone area that has style and delicious cuisine options!
The Gene Leahy Mall just opened in 2022. It is an absolutely beautiful way to experience the community of Omaha! With many areas for family, food, and festivities, it is a wonderful spot to relax. It is also close by to the Old Market if you want to spend the day wandering downtown.
If you are looking for a brunch spot, then look no further than Early Bird! It is one of our favorite brunch spots in all of Omaha! Wait times can be long on Saturday, but if you download the yelp app you can get on the waitlist early. Nina's favorite dish is the Hash Holes appetizers!
If you are looking for something to do on Friday afternoon, we highly recommend the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. It is consistently ranked as one of the world's top five zoos!
A fantastic lunch spot is Block 16! It has incredible farm to table food and some of the best burgers in Omaha. Check out their Instagram to see what special burger is featured each day!
This is a great Escape room venue in downtown Omaha, very close to the wedding reception area. If you have some down time, this is a great activity!
