Cristo Redentor is a beautiful place to visit! Cristo Redentor is 90 minutes away from the wedding venue. If you are planning on going to Brazil a few days before the wedding I would recommend staying in Botafogo area as the area has more activities and day trips on offer than the Recreio area, where our wedding will be! Christ the Redeemer is located at Parque Nacional da Tijuca, 710 meter above the sea level, where you can appreciate one of the most beautiful views of Rio.

Most of our Brazil guest do not speak English, but they will definitely love trying to talk to all the gringos hahaha.&nbsp;

Great place to visit!!! I added a link where you can find a guide for the hike. Pedra do Telegrafo hike (Telegraph’s Rock) is located in a State park providing wonderful unspoiled beaches, lush forests, and the Marambaia estuary. The trail lasts around 1 hour with amazing views of the shore.As you return from Pedra do Telegrafo hike, you can stop for a sea bath and relaxing time at&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumari" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Grumari beach</a>, one of the best in Rio!
