Join us for a night of Indian music and dancing to kick off our wedding weekend! "Sangeet" means "music" in Hindi, so there is no better way to join families, than with song and dance. Open bar service will be available, dinner service not provided. We highly encourage guests to wear traditional Indian clothing, but if you choose to wear Western attire, we ask that it be colorful. For recommendations on Indian clothing, please see below: Women can wear a sari, lehenga, or salwar. Saris can be a bit more complicated to wrap and wear if you are unfamiliar with the attire. Men can wear kurtas, jodhpuris or sherwanis. If the traditional pants are uncomfortable, please feel free to wear pants of your choice (black pants, khakis, dress pants). Please wear comfortable shoes for dancing! Sandals or any type of closed-toed shoes are the best option. There is no need to wear heels.
