Like a true modern day romance, Nina and Steven met in a bar. Both were frequent flyers at the neighborhood bar, Hennessy's, but hadn't crossed paths until Nina went to meet her bestie and bridesmaid, Emily, for a drink in August of 2022. Emily was Steven's favorite waitress during her time working there and he was one of her regulars and he was there hanging out as well. The two immediately hit it off and shared jokes and spent the night laughing with friends.

The two soon met again at another Hennessy's run in which Steven moved his table to come sit with Nina and her friends. After that, Steven was sure he wanted to take Nina on date.

Nina and Steven had their third Hennessy's encounter on everyone's favorite holiday- the night before Thanksgiving. The night was filled with laughter, friends, and dancing. Steven pulled out all his best dance moves to wow Nina, but it would take a few months before she agreed to go on a date with him.

In January of 2023, Nina and Steven went on their first date and there was never a dull moment. They continued to spend time together, grab drinks, and watch their favorite shows. Steven proposed to Nina the following November on Lake Saint Clair because he knows if you find a good thing to keep it close! The two are so excited to party and share their special day with you!
